News Update

News Update for 9th May

We are currently living in difficult and worrying times when for most of us our normal lives have been put on hold for the time being.   Here at Castleford Heritage Trust based at Queen’s Mill, Aire Street, Castleford, working with our community is something we do on a daily basis and that is something we are continuing to do during this crisis.

Many of you will be self isolating because of your age or underlying health concerns or are carers helping others.   Queen’s Mill has been chosen as a Support Hub working in co-operation with our partners and Wakefield Council.

During this period if you require our assistance, it may be to help with shopping, collecting a prescription or perhaps you would just like someone to chat to please phone us via the Wakefield Council helpline on 0345 8 506 506 choose option 3 to make a request for support and help will be arranged.

If you are on Facebook you can find out more information and perhaps try some of our online activities or enjoy our short articles by following us at Queen’s Mill Castleford.
We have attached a small selection of puzzles and activities which you might find interesting.   Working as a community, following the government’s guidelines I am sure we can overcome this terrible virus.

We send everyone our very best wishes.
